FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between the license and the subscription?

The Perpetual License is a one-time purchase installed on your institution’s own servers and includes 12 months of updates. The Subscription is hosted and maintained by us, billed monthly, and always runs the latest version.

Why don’t you publish prices?

Institutions differ widely in collection size, number of users and the modules they need. We quote individually so you only pay for what your institution will actually use.

What counts as a support request?

Each question or issue you raise with our support team counts as one request, whether it is a technical problem, a how-to question or a configuration change.

Can we migrate our existing records?

Yes. Migration from spreadsheets and legacy databases is part of our implementation process, and its scope is agreed during the initial consultation.

What do we need to run the software on-premise?

Server requirements depend on your collection size and number of users. We confirm the technical requirements with your IT team before installation.

Is the subscription suitable for public institutions?

Yes. The hosted subscription removes the need for in-house server administration, which suits institutions with limited IT staff. For specific procurement or data-residency requirements, the Enterprise plan can be tailored.
